The Association of Forgers of Catalunya (AFoC) and Tallerdeforja (www.tallerdeforja.net)

Dia de Sant Jordi. Roses solidàries i realització de Flors.
Donació solidària de roses de forja anteriorment elaborades i realització durant la tarda de noves flors per part dels participants. Els beneficis de la venda de flors serviran per ajudar a famílies necessitades del barri del Raval a través d’Acció Social Montalegre.

FORJA VIVA / II JORNADES

Barcelona 22, 23, 24 i 25 d'abril de 2010.

Durant 4 dies, forjador@s i molts altres professionals relacionats d'arreu, realitzaran aquestes jornades artístiques, científiques i tècniques al centre històric de la ciutat de Barcelona.
Els principals objectius d'aquest esdeveniment, són:
• Donar a conèixer l'estat de la forja al s.XXI.
• Definir la perspectiva dels i les forjador@s catalans dins la xarxa internacional.
• Potenciar el reconeixement i la cura de l‘ofici i del nostre patrimoni.

II FORJA VIVA
Barcelona 22nd, 23rd, 24th i 25th of April 2010.
During 4 days, blacksmiths and many other related professionals from around the world, will take part in this artistic, scientific and technical event, in the historic centre of the city of Barcelona.
The main objectives of the gathering are:
To promote the state of the forge in the 21st Century.
To define the perspective of catalan forge within the international network.
To boost the acknowledgment and the care for this trade and our blacksmith heritage.

On 22nd, 23rd, 24th and 25th April, Barcelona’s Raval district will be hosting Forja Viva gathering. Barcelona’s Maritime Museum will be staging an international exhibition of forgework as part of the event. The exhibition has been organised by Tallerdeforja.net and the Blacksmiths Association of Catalonia (AFoC), with the support and involvement of the Museu Marítim in Barcelona, the Museu Cau Ferrat in Sitges and the Museu de la Vida Rural in L’Espluga de Francolí.

Los próximos días 22, 23, 23, 24 y 25 d’abril se celebrarán en el barrio del Raval de Barcelona las Jornadas Internacionales de Forja Viva. Una de las actividades propuestas en el marco de estas Jornadas es la exposición internacional de forja que tendrá lugar en el Museu Marítim de Barcelona. La exposición, organizada por Tallerdeforja.net y la Asociación de Forjadores de Catalunya (AFoC), cuenta con el apoyo y la complicidad del Museu Marítim de Barcelona, el Museu Cau Ferrat de Sitges y el Museu de la Vida Rural de Espluga de Francolí.
